Teaching Artists International is now a program of In Concert.
The fellowships, micro-grants, and partnerships you know have a new home — alongside the Opus Network, a global membership of grassroots music programs.
Since 2018, Teaching Artists International has carried musicians across four continents — to classrooms in Mostar and Belgrade, rehearsal rooms in eSwatini, and stages across Peru, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. What began as a single fellowship grew into a family of programs, partners, and young musicians around the world.
Nothing about our mission has changed — only the scale of what we can do together.
Today, that work has a larger home. Teaching Artists International is now a program of In Concert. Our fellowships continue as TAI Fellows. Our micro-grants continue as Stand Partners. And around them stands something new: the Opus Network, a worldwide membership of grassroots music programs.
This is also an invitation. If you lead a community music program, the Opus Network is open to you as a founding member. If TAI Fellows is calling you, keep in touch for upcoming travel opportunities. And if you are one of our alumni, send us your updates and impact stories — we want to hear where the music took you.
This page remains as a record of where we began. Everything that comes next lives at our new home.
