Anjali Varma (she) - Executive Assistant

Anjali Varma (she/her) is a multilingual and passionate advocate for arts and culture with over 15 years of diverse leadership experience. Holding a Master's in Arts Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the esteemed National Institute of Technology Calicut in India, Anjali brings a wealth of expertise. Her dedication to promoting and preserving arts, history, and culture while fostering growth and engagement in the cultural sector is evident in her professional journey.


Born and raised in the cultural capital of Kerala in India, Anjali has been immersed in the world of arts and culture from a young age. Trained in Indian classical music and three different Indian classical dance forms (Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi), she also devotes time to learning the piano and acoustic guitar to complement her singing. Anjali's commitment to the arts was recognized with the National Balashri award for creativity in performing arts in 2011.


Throughout her postgraduate studies and subsequent professional career, Anjali has collaborated with a variety of nonprofits, spanning arts organizations to higher education institutions and independent marketing agencies. Her multifaceted background encompasses marketing, community engagement, and event management, reflecting her versatile skill set and passion for driving positive change through the arts. Anjali's extensive experience and dedication make her a valuable asset to organizations aiming to promote cultural enrichment and community engagement.
