El Sistema Congo

Our program, inspired by El Sistema movement, has a bold vision: to promote musical education to all children in Africa, with a special focus on our home country, the Democratic Republic of Congo. We believe that music has the power to create positive social change, and we are committed to using it as a tool to build a better future for our communities.

Our program operates in the red zone of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, specifically in the province of South Kivu to the east. This region is characterized by ongoing violence and conflict, creating a challenging environment for the children and young people who live there. However, our program provides a unique opportunity for these young people to find hope and creativity amidst the chaos.

Through music education, we offer our students a chance to escape the stresses of war and develop their inner talents. While individual growth and development are essential components of our program, our goals extend far beyond these objectives.

We recognize the transformative power of music and its ability to bring people together. As such, our program is committed to using music as a tool to promote positive social change in our community. By providing a platform for collaboration and creativity, we aim to create a brighter future for our students and the wider society.

Despite the challenges we face in this region, we remain steadfast in our commitment to building a better future for the next generation. Through our program, we are creating an oasis of hope and creativity, where young people can thrive and realize their full potential, even in the face of adversity.

By supporting our program, you are not just investing in the musical education of individual children - you are helping to build a brighter future for Africa. You are helping to create a world where music is a powerful force for positive social change, where children from all backgrounds have the opportunity to develop their talents and reach their full potential. Join us on this journey and together, let's make a difference in the world.
